A few more tables

With Mardi Gras being so close to Valentine's Day, it was hard for me to post two tables.
This was the table I set for Valentine's Day. Although, we did not eat here that day.  We went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants because it is also the birthday of the beautiful man that runs the register.  We have been friends with him for about 17 years. He used to work at restaurant that my parent's used to hang out and take all the people from out of town to.  After many years of talking to Manny and watching how he was with kids, I remembered that I used to follow him as a child.  No wonder we got along when we met again.  Several customers take him a cake and we always get a piece.

One of my good friends gave me the heart salt and pepper holders.

My friend sent me the owl salt and pepper shakers for Valentine's Day so of course I had to tablescape with them.  The cloth is Leacock. I found new in the package at the thrift store.  I love that store.  I used Fiesta in Lemongrass, Black and Shamrock.

This was the hubby's lunch.
This is mine.  I wanted tacos.

For the next table, I was inspired by someone on Facebook.

I had been trying to set all pink tables in February with the exception of the green one above.  I don't know what happened to all the other pictures.

I have started to Spring table but I am battling a sinus infection and bronchitis.  I have missed work this whole week.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

  3. Oh what a lovely story about your friend. It's wonderful when friendships transcend ages! Your tables are so pretty. I do love Fiesta pattern, and I had my mother in law's antiques. But my niece wanted them and stupid me, I gave them away!!! So silly. I regret that every day. Those green glasses are so pretty. I love their texture. be blessed, xo marlis

    1. Thank you Christine! The color is pink officially called Rose. I want to set another one with Flamingo which leans towards a salmon color.
