This table was inspired by the tea towel which I received from another Fiesta collector during a towel swap. I used Fiesta in Flamingo, Chocolate, Lemongrass and Chartreuse. The platter that the Chocolate pitcher is sitting on is Harlequin also by the makers of Fiesta.
I want some Fiesta heart bowls to go with this next table. I found the cloth at my favorite thrift shop. I found out that it was made in Austria. I used Marigold, Cobalt and Scarlet.
This next one was a pre-Valentine's Day table. Once again, the cloth was found at the thrift store. I used Flamingo, White and Gray.
This was the table I set for Mardi Gras. It was on the table for a day since the next day was Valentine's Day. I used green chargers and Fiesta in Plum, vintage yellow and Marigold.
I will try to post my Valentine's Day table on the next round along with one that was inspired by a gift from a friend.
Thanks for stopping by.
I love all your table settings, and your tablecloths! They're all so pretty. The Austrian tablecloth is extra sweet!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam. I thought of you the other day when I was playing/moving all my tablecloths around. I found a cedar chest at the same thrift store where I purchased some of these cloths. Thank you for stopping by.
DeleteYou have so many bright and beautiful pieces, Monica!
ReplyDeleteI love every one of your fun and inspirational tablescapes!

Hugs,
Michele
Thank you Michele! I've so missed blogging.Time has not been my friend lately.
DeleteAll of the tables are fabulous...you have some really pretty pieces and colors. I love that gray vase/urn.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marigene! The vase was the last vase of I was missing to at least have one of each of the Fiesta vases. It was worth the wait.
DeleteWhat a great parade of tables! I'm so glad that you found the Vera peppermints, too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Daphne! I can't wait to use the peppermints cloth.
DeleteMonica, WOW, you have been busy! It is very very hard to read and comment on all the blogs we read isn't it! I am impressed with all you have done. Mardi Gras and Valentine's so close together is hard. I have never decorated for Mardi Gras or St Patrick's Day but viewing all the decorating on blogland it is hard to escape getting interested.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed all your tablecloths. I especially like the gray, white and coral one. Is that an iris flower?
Thank you Bonnie! I hope to get my St. Patrick's table up this week. I'm not sure about the flower but it does look like an iris.
DeleteHi Monica,
ReplyDeleteI love Fiesta ware but don't have alot of it. My sweet friend, Amanda found a aqua pitcher just like yours at a thrift store for $1.50 and gave it to me. It isn't vintage, but still love it! I hoped over from Michele's blog @ The Finch Nest. She is such a sweetheart and the gift you sent her was such a kind and generous thing to do. Happy to be following you.
hugs,
Jann
Hi Jann! Fiesta at a thrifty price is fabulous isn't it. Well any dish at thrift price is also. Thank you for your sweet comments, for stopping by and following.
DeleteHi lovely lady.

I hope you find a way to fit the Fiesta into one of your wonderful tables. Thanks for stopping by and sorry for the late response.
DeleteHi Monica. I don'T comment as much as I should so appreciate you stopping by. You put togeather so many pretty tablescapes.with all your fiesta ware. I actually had a set of vintage ware which the cups are a different shape but alas I sold them a long time ago.I did find a creamer ingreen and 2 cups and saucers in a mauvey.I do follow you. color.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by. It means a lot to me too. I remember you mentioning you had some Fiesta at one point. I've been away for a bit as there has been a lot going on. Now I'm fighting a sinus infection and bronchitis.
DeleteMonica, your array of tables is so much fun to view. Your fiesta is a very versatile way to create lovely tablescapes. When I see fiesta I think of my Mother's kithchen with turquoise and yellow curtains and the wonderful colors of the fiesta ware we used. Do you go to Canton and visit the place that sells Fiesta for I love all the great pieces there. Love your gorgeous collection of tablecloths especially the one with the blue and red with the cute couple. Thanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comments. It is fun to visit with a fellow Texan!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Fiesta does bring back a lot of memories.
DeleteI am far from Canton which may be a good thing. LOL. I am in FAR west Texas on the New Mexico border. I am closer to Phoenix than I am to Dallas or Houston.
Thank you for stopping by and sorry for the late response. I've been sick and haven't been able to play with my dishes.
