In an effort to cheer myself up from being sick with a sinus infection and bronchitis, I used a new to me cloth with bright colors. The Fiesta colors are Marigold, Lemongrass, Shamrock and White.
I walked the hubby through to make a roast. It was good but it was better when we shredded it to make flautas which we had for dinner tonight.
I hope Spring is really making its way to you in your part of the country. We have warmed up to the 80's but with lots of wind and dust(more like dirt).
I will be joining Cuisine Kathleen for
Let's Dish. Be sure to stop by and comment on all the other participants.
I love your bright and cheerful tablescape, Monica.
ReplyDeleteThat new to you tablecloth sure pulls it all together perfectly!
I am so sorry you have been sick! I am sending you get-well wishes and some prayers. Hope your hubs is feeling better too.
Big hugs.
Thank you Michele! I'm still not 100% but I am feeling better.
DeleteSo fun! Bright and cheerful!
ReplyDelete- The Tablescaper
Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteThat truly IS a bright and cheerful tablecloth, Monica! It reminds me of "The Brady Bunch" for some reason! I have always liked the bright, fun images of the 60s and 70s.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you've not been feeling well. That's gotta suck! Just don't breathe in a lot of that crazy dust/dirt that's flying around down there or you'll STAY sick!!! It's till c-o-l-d here with nighttime temps dipping below freezing. It has been really rainy, too. We're really closing in on that rain deficit that has been building up over the last couple of years!!!!
Get well soon, and have a good night!
Do you want me to tell you how hot it is here?? Do ya? Do ya?? Well, I will tell you. We were at 89 degrees today. Can you believe that??
DeleteThere is no avoiding all the dirt and dust. Yuck!
Thank you for the well wishes and stopping by.
Glad you are feeling better! A perfectly cheerful table to chase a way those blues. The new tablecloth is pretty, and your fiesta is just perfect! xo marlis
ReplyDeleteMonica, hope you get to feeling better soon. Love your table...I used the same green stemware again this week...I just love them!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marigene! Yes I love the stemware also! It is, like you said, the right shade of green.
DeleteI saw lots of Fiestaware at Roundtop and couldn't help but think of you though I can't imagine what else you need for your wonderful collection. I always enjoy how you mix your colors.
ReplyDeleteOh there is a lot on my wish list. LOL. Thank you!
DeleteWhat a fun, colorful table, Monica! I hope you're feeling better. It was sweet of your hubby to make the roast for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was sweet of him. Now, if we could just get him to do it more often. LOL
DeleteI hope you feel better, Monica,. This table will cheer me up too. It's beautiful and so happy. I love the green goblets. I think Marigene had them too and I was admiting them on her table also....Christine
ReplyDeleteThank you! Marigene and I do have the same glasses. Isn't that great? I love the way she uses them also.
DeleteMonica - what a great tablecloth - perfect for the addition of Fiesta! You did a great job of mixing and matching the colors and those green goblets are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane! It was fun (a little exhausting) putting out different colors to see what would go with the cloth.
DeleteWhat a happy, spring table setting. Love how you mix your pieces. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThank you !!!
DeleteThat tablecloth looks like it was made to go with your dishes. What a pretty table.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better soon!
Judy
Thank you Judy! The cloth spoke to me when I saw it.
DeleteYour table is so lovely. I love the bright spring/summer colors. The tablecloth looks so happy. Love the rows of flowers. Your Fiesta ware is so beautiful. I have a few pieces but I don't collect it. I do love and collect vintage Homer Laughlin but I so admire the colors of Fiesta Ware.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower, Ginger
Thank you so much Ginger!
DeleteI love your table. My Grandmother had an enormous collection of Fiesta Ware..it was what I remember always eating on at her house. I am your newest follower..hope you will visit me again..
