Marigold Tureen

I am so excited.  I was able to purchase the Fiesta soup tureen thanks to my wonderful aunt.  I did not think I would ever have this piece.

Yes I am using is also.  I made tortellini sausage soup.  In this picture it looks like there isn't any soup though.

Here it sits in it new home.  Seeing my glass cake stand makes me wish HLC would make a Fiesta cake stand.

I used it again a few days later with Meatball and Spaghetti Stoup (Rachael Ray recipe).

I had so much fun playing with my dishes and cooking this past week.

It has been crazy busy and life has been turned upside down. since I started working on this post. I've still managed to set a nice table when we have eaten at home.  I will try to post those as well soon.

  1. Monica - how wonderful that you were able to acquire the fabulous tureen. Every time that I see it, I think of my blogging friends who are crazy about Fiesta. I have only one color of Fiesta, but I do love it. The tureen looks wonderful in its new home on the hutch - hope you serve a million happy dishes in it!!

  5. Hi, Monica! I hope there's nothing bad going on. When someone says that life has been turned upside down, that's cause for concern. Just hang in there, and it'll get upside right again! Meanwhile, it's good that you are continuing to set a nice table...especially with your cool new tureen!!!!!!! So cool!!! I'm glad you got it! We'll keep our fingers crossed on the cake plateau! Looking at that iced tea makes me thirsty. I think I'll head downstairs and brew some up! Have a good weekend, and take care!!!
