Fiesta and Snowflakes

We had our first snow fall on Thursday.  It is a big deal here in the desert.  Lots of accidents as people do not know how to drive or rather slow down.  Luckily, there wasn't a lot of traffic as schools are still out.

Here is a picture of my backyard and my Reagan eating snow.  I don't know what her exposure to snow was before but when we first went out in the morning she was a bit afraid of the falling snow. By the afternoon, she was eating it.  I didn't get a picture of Ryleigh as she was off exploring under the trees.

The snow was inspiration for my table.  I found the place mats on clearance at Kohl's and I already had all the other snowflakes on the table.  The Fiesta colors are Periwinkle and White.  The flatware was a gift from my cousin.

  6. Snow in the desert...I saw it on the news and loved the contradiction between snow and desert. I never tire of seeing what you do with your fiesta ware. Your must have multiple pieces in every color which means endless combination possibilities.
