I like white as an accent to my colorful Fiesta. I like how it looks on other people's tables. It is odd for me to see it on my table but I was up for the challenge and I was able to get it done. So a tiny victory for me. YAY!
The plates that I used as chargers are a thrifty find that are marked Made for Federated Department Stores. The napkin rings were found at Kmart but they were sold as ornaments. They are a different style. I liked them and knew I would use them for this purpose. Of course, there is White Fiesta on the table. Would you expect there not to be?
There you have a white table from the gal who loves color. Thanks to Kathleen for hosting Let's Dish. Be sure to check out everyone's table.
PS: Here is my first attempt.
Monica, I like both tables, but your new one is so elegant! Love those crystal and silver pieces are really pretty. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteMonica, I think many of us were truly "challenged" by this challenge!! I love BOTH of your tables. The coral or melon color of your accent pieces is just wonderful! Linda
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table...well, tables! I thought it was white and an accent color, don't remember last week's notes saying the dishes had to be white. Oops! I failed but linked up and then saw I shouldn't have. Like you and your Fiesta, me and my Hazel Atlas love color, LOL. You did great on this challenge. Looking forward to more of your "color" tables in the future. :) Pam
ReplyDeleteDon't feel badly Monica, I missed that you could have one accent color.LOL! I like both tables but my eye first went to your white tablecloth which is so striking!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed using the shell napkin rings you gave me so much! Hope you are having a great summer!
For you an all white challenge is a BIG challenge - you love your colourful Fiestaware!!
ReplyDeleteI think you rose to the challenge well, Monida!
: - )
Hugs.
It was really hard not to add that extra color but you did good girl.
ReplyDeleteLuv Fiesta also! A+ on both tables.
Cathy Cupboard Calamity <;)
Of course white makes your head hurt...you're a Fiesta fan through and through! You got a great result despite the headache!
ReplyDeleteLOL, you did great, I am proud of you! I love colors, all of them, but I love the simplicity of all white too!
ReplyDeleteFun to push ourselves though!
Thanks so much for taking the challenge!
I just had to click to see some it bigger because I loved the details in every piece, your place setting, stemware, and flatware. The shape of that charger is so unique, and I love it. Plus, the table linen had a wonderful tone on tone effect that was perfect for this challenge. For a girl who likes color, you totally scored with the white challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis very pretty tablescape for the white challenge on Let's Dish is fabulous. The chargers are beautiful and I like how you coordinated it with your white Fiesta plate. Your beautiful white flowers adds elegance to your centerpiece. You are so successful from the white tablecloth to the lovely and clever napkin rings! Have a good week and stay cool from the Texas heat!
ReplyDeletePam
