Fiesta and Owls

I am considering this a Halloween table because of the owls.  I had only planned to work on one Halloween table but my friend said I should use the wreath as a centerpiece. So that was the inspiration for this table. The Tablescaper used one on her table.  You can see her table here.

The napkin rings were a thrifty find.  There are eight of them with four facing one way and four facing the opposite way.  I like the way the pop with all the dark colors.
The Fiesta colors are Persimmon, Paprika and Chocolate.  Persimmon is my favorite Fiesta color.
I made the ceramic owl way back when my mom was taking ceramics.  This is one of the few pices that have survived. The little votive holder is from the $2.50 section at Target.

These are not the true colors. I like the way they look though. My pictures are coming out orange.  I need to get a new camera soon.

I will joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays. Please stop by her place to see what everyone else is up to this week.

I am also joing Suan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday!

    1. Thanks for stopping by. The girls are doing good but not being good. It is my fault though. They haven't had the exercise they need. Reagan is over her food allergy and is no longer wearing the cone.

  6. Owls seem to be the hot decor for fall in the stores I've been to lately, you are right on trend! I think they are a great choice for Halloween, spooky but not too creepy. The napkin rings are my favorite part! Super cute

  7. The owls are perfect for Halloween, Monica. I especially like the napkin rings. I don't think the colors look too orange. The Fiesta colors read correctly on my monitor, so you may want to check the settings on yours.

    1. Thanks Daphne. It was the one picture that didn't look right too me. The pitcher looks Paprika but it is Persimmon and the Chocolate plates looks Paprika. Thanks for stopping by.

  10. Monica! A thrift find? A thrift find?!??! Really?!?!??!! Those cool owl napkin rings were a THRIFT FIND?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?! Can you tell I'm freaking out just a teensy bit right now? :-) I really like those! I have parrots and Ling monkeys (don't ask!), but no owls...and those are really cool! Amazing what one can find at the thrift store! Your friend was right: This table was meant to be with that fun wreath as a part of the centerpiece!!! Thank you for stopping by earlier this evening. I have been preoccupied with helping (not really helping...more like surly supervising!) my husband cut up the huge tree branch that the sinister winds snapped off the tree in our front yard this evening. It's so sad because it's such a beautiful tree, and now it has a big chunk missing. :-( Oh, well....at least there wasn't a car parked on the street where it fell!!! Have a good weekend!!!!!!

    1. Yes, I can tell you were freaking out just a tad. LOL!! I think it was Savers where I found them. Sorry about the tree but like you said good thing that there was not a car parked there.
