Peppermint Overload

I have been dreaming on working on this table for year.  As the year went on, things were added from thrift store finds and clearance tables. Several of my friends contributed to the creation of this table also.

What is your favorite part of decorating?  My favorite is the dishes.  They are the first Christmas items taken out and the last to be put away.  I hope I get to set a few more tables before the end of the year!

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I MUST have those placemats now!!!! Goodness gracious, those are pretty! They are such a perfect anchor for your place setting! This must be what "visions of sugarplums danced in their heads" means!!! You did a great job, Monica! You dreamed of it for a year, and it came to fruition in great style!!! Those oversized lollipops are so cute! I would just want to fill the entire room with them!!! I like all the candy-shaped dishes and those teensy weensy cupcakes under the cloche, too. Very cute! And you even found peppermint napkin rings...what a coup! Great table, Monica!!! I hope your weekend is going well and that you're cozy and warm down there in good ol' Texas!

    1. Hi Alycia! The placemats are from Pier1. I purchased them last year on clearance but I saw that they have them this year also. THe giant lollipops were from Cracker Barrel on their clearance table. I had wanted them for a while but they were so expensive. They were meant to be mine. The napkin rings were from Kohl's. My friend found me some and I found the rest.
We are getting a cold front today along with some wind. The dogs have their sweaters on and I will haul out the bigger jacket.
      Thanks for stopping by. Monica
