summers end

I am not ready for summer to end. I am not ready for shorter days. I am not looking forward to the holidays either. I do want to take out my Christmas dishes. We didn't even put the big tree up last year not sure I want to put it up this year either. I feel down and it's due to my mom's health. Her memory is getting worse every day. I think she had another TIA (mini stroke). I am going to make an appointment with a neurologist.

Sunday Drive

We drove thru the nearby farming towns of Socorro, San Elizario and Clint. It was great to see all the cotton and pecan fields. We stopped at Licon Dairy Farm. We bought Asadero cheese and tortillas. We ate them in the car. It was so good. They have a mini zoo. We saw donkeys, llamas, a camel, roosters, deer, a turkey, longhorns, rams, buffalo and peacocks. I got some pictures but too bad I can't load them. It was a nice afternoon.

Favorite Fiesta colors and combinations

My favorite colors are Persimmon ad Turquoise. They the first colors I purchased. Yellow, Rose and Chocolate are my other favorites. I like to use different color combinations. For Easter this yearI used Rose and Gray.When Chocolate came out, combined it with Rose and Turquoise. I've combined the blues together. The next combination I want bring out are all the greens. Again, I wish I could post pictures.
