Watermelon Explosion

It is summer here even though the calendar and the wind don't say so.  The temperature is in the mid + 90s.  The wind use to stop in early May but it has continued daily.  It is very hard on the alleriges and for those with asthma.

I did two versions of this table last year.  The second was due to the gift of the glass bowls and tray from my friend.  This year she gave me the candle holders and one set of the s and p shakers.  The green goblets and pitcher are from another friend. Every time I get new goodies I want to use them right away.  So here is this years version.

This table says summer to me. So I'm linking up with The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays. Be sure to stop by and see what everyone else is up to these days.

  1. Love it, Monica! Your table is fresh, colorful and so exciting!

It is so good to see you - I love your pretty tablescapes!

Have a wonderful holiday - take care and hope that wind stops soon. It is super hot here too - and windy - but it beats still humid heat, at least to me - prolly b/c I don't suffer allergies.

    Take care!

  2. Those table linens are wonderful and I love those greens and reds together. The watermelon looks pretty good, too!!! My sister used to live in Sierra Blanca, so I understand about the weather out there!!

    1. It has been a hit or miss with the watermelon so far. I'm looking for the some of the people from Pecos that park their trucks at empty shopping centers and sell watermelon and other fruit. Thank you for stopping by.
